Topanga Quality Honey is the home label of Bennett's Honey Farm, a family-owned bee sanctuary and honey-packaging operation based in Fillmore, California. They produce and source raw, unfiltered, kosher honey in a wide variety of single-varietal and wildflower types from California and beyond. All products are pure, raw, unfiltered, and natural, with bees that travel to follow different floral honey flows across the country.

The Beekeeper's Story

Bennett's Honey Farm was started in the late 1970s by Red and Ann Bennett, after a swarm of bees landed in their backyard in the California countryside. Rather than removing them, the Bennetts let the bees stay and produce local honey from surrounding orchards and valleys. As demand grew, they established Bennett's Honey Farm in Piru Canyon, later acquired the Topanga Quality Honey label, and moved operations to their current location in Fillmore, CA. In 2011, the Bennetts retired and sold the business to long-time customer and beekeeper Chip Vannoy and his wife Taydee, who continue to operate it today. The facility is 100% solar-powered, USDA Organic certified, and kosher. Topanga Quality Honey is found at Whole Foods, specialty markets, farmers markets, and online.
