Founded in 1918 by Floyd Sandt, who began with just four hives on the Wagener orchard and homestead in Easton, PA, Sandt's Honey Company grew into a century-old family institution. By 1974 the company was managing approximately 400 hives, though it later transitioned to focus entirely on honey processing and distribution. The Sandt family operated the business for generations until 2015, when John and Traci Torrillo purchased the company and modernized its operations—updating the logo, website, marketing, and packaging facility with state-of-the-art equipment while preserving the brand's legacy of quality unfiltered honey. Today, Sandt's operates out of its original location on Wagener Lane in Easton, PA, offering a range of varietal honeys sourced from beekeepers both in and out of the U.S., with the hallmark commitment to delivering honey 'as the bees intended.'
