The Beekeeper's Story

San Diego Honey Company® was founded by Rachel Adams in 2011, who created both the Pollen Plus® and San Diego Honey Company® brands and built a reputation for excellence through innovative infused honeys, distinctive packaging, and strong relationships with local businesses. In December 2015, Rachel sold the business to pursue new ventures, and today the company continues as a woman-owned business dedicated to sourcing only the finest raw honey from Southern California beekeepers who respect their bees and the integrity of the honey they produce. The company works closely with local beekeepers across San Diego and the broader SoCal region, carrying an extensive range of raw floral varietals — from Coastal Wildflower and Orange Blossom to Avocado and Buckwheat — as well as their popular Pollen Plus® honey-and-bee-pollen blend.
