Orchard Pond Organics is a diverse, family-owned certified organic farm located in the Red Hills Region of Tallahassee, Florida. They produce raw, unfiltered honey including tupelo, wildflower, and gallberry varieties, sourced from local beekeepers and their own apiaries. Their honey is sold online, at their farm stand, farmers markets, and through major retailers across Florida.

The Beekeeper's Story

Orchard Pond was founded in 2008 when the owners started an organic garden to feed their young family, inspired by generations of traditions around good food and caring for the land. Over the years, the farm expanded from a personal garden into a thriving community resource. An on-farm commercial kitchen was added in 2011, which started as a honey bottling facility and evolved into a full test kitchen. Today the 30-acre certified organic farm produces tupelo, wildflower, and gallberry honey — all raw and unfiltered — alongside organic produce, pesto, granola, and grass-fed beef. Their tupelo honey bees are kept on-farm for six months of the year before being moved to special locations along the Apalachicola River for the brief annual tupelo bloom harvest.
