McCoy's Florida Honey is a three-generation family honey farm based in Loxahatchee, FL, operating as McCoy's Sunny South Apiaries. They produce 100% pure, raw, minimally processed honey sourced entirely from their own Florida-based hives, offering varieties including Orange Blossom, Palmetto, and Wildflower honey.
The Beekeeper's Story
The McCoy family honey legacy began in 1946 when Joseph L. McCoy purchased a beekeeping business in Minden City, Michigan, running it with his wife Gloria for many years. In 1980, their son Mark and his wife Elaine relocated to Florida, starting with just a couple of backyard hives and growing to thousands of hives under the name McCoy's Sunny South Apiaries in Loxahatchee, South Florida. All three of Mark and Elaine's children are now actively involved in the business, continuing the family tradition of beekeeping and honey packaging into the third generation.
