Southern California raw honey, family-run since 1954.
The Beekeeper's Story
Honey Pacifica's origins trace back to 1978 when a high-school science project brought a beehive home, and the family's backyard eventually filled with 40 hives. Friends and neighbors loved the raw, unfiltered honey so much that a roadside stand was set up, and the business officially launched in 1979. Over the decades, the multi-generational family business grew from a backyard operation into a regional brand, relocating production to a larger certified food facility to meet demand. Today, the brand is operated by siblings and their spouses, sells at farmers markets throughout Southern California, and distributes through major grocery retailers including Whole Foods, Pavilions, and Gelson's, as well as online and on Amazon. They also give back through a 'Giving Farm' program that teaches high school students about beekeeping.
