The Beekeeper's Story

Florida Keys Honey and Bees is run by David Lewis, a Big Pine Key beekeeper who also operates a plumbing company. Lewis is known locally as a go-to professional for bee removal and swarm management in the Key West area, and has been called upon by the City of Key West for emergency bee incidents. The operation reflects the broader Keys beekeeping tradition of small-scale, hyper-local honey production from the unique subtropical flora of the Lower Florida Keys.
