Family-run Homer beekeeping operation with ~150 hives in pristine subalpine meadows, producing raw fireweed and wildflower honey since 2015.
The Beekeeper's Story
Founded by James Reid and started in 2015 with a single beehive, Stoked Beekeeping Co. has grown to operate around 150 beehives among southcentral Alaska's subalpine meadows near Homer. James named the company 'Stoked' to reflect his passion for the natural world and the way beekeeping has helped him connect with nature. In addition to producing and selling raw honey, Stoked offers immersive farm tours and beekeeping education courses at their Homer bee farm, where visitors can sample honey varieties straight from the hive and learn about Alaskan beekeeping practices.
