Stockin's Apiaries is a family-owned honey business based in Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, that has been providing raw and filtered honey for over 30 years. They specialize in four varieties of raw honey — Wildflower, Alfalfa, Orange Blossom, and Buckwheat — all kept under 108°F to preserve enzymes. The Beekeeper's Story

Stockin's Apiaries was founded by a passionate beekeeper who was introduced to the craft in 1975 through Robert C. Herr of Herr's Fruit Farm in Millersville, PA. After learning the trade and taking over Herr's bee operation around 1985, the founder went full-time in 1992 under the Stockin's Apiaries name. Over the decades, the business has grown from a one-man operation into a family enterprise involving building bee equipment, extracting and bottling honey, rendering wax, and moving hives for orchard pollination — at times wintering bees in Florida to collect orange blossom honey before returning north for spring blooms. Today, Stockin's maintains approximately 200–300 beehives that are moved between locations rather than kept at a fixed apiary. As demand has grown beyond what their own bees can supply, they also source honey from trusted beekeepers in Pennsylvania, New York, South Dakota, Canada (alfalfa), and Florida (orange blossom). The business sells primarily wholesale to natural food stores and markets throughout Lancaster County and the broader Mid-Atlantic region, with retail customers directed to one of their many stockist locations.
