Manuka Honey USA LLC is a US-based importer of pure, raw, unpasteurized Manuka Honey from New Zealand, operating since 1994 and recognized as the first and original Manuka honey importer on the US East Coast. The company is UMF® licensed (License #2238) and sells exclusively online, shipping nationwide from its Orlando, Florida warehouse.

The Beekeeper's Story

Manuka Honey USA began in 1994 when the owner opened a retail store called 'West Coast Honey Stop' in Florence, Oregon, where locals and tourists could sample over 20 honey varieties at a 'Honey Bar.' The online brand name 'Manuka Honey USA' was adopted the same year. After nine years on the Oregon Coast, the company transitioned in 2003 to an internet-only operation run out of an Orlando, Florida warehouse. Managed by Elaine Schmid, the small family-owned business has turned down acquisition offers from large corporations in order to remain focused on its mission of providing authentic, lab-tested Manuka Honey at fair prices directly to health-conscious consumers and their pets.
