Badia Spices is a national and international spice company founded in 1967 by José Badía in Miami, FL, now headquartered in Doral, FL. While primarily known as a spice and seasoning brand, Badia offers honey-related products including Honey Granules — a dehydrated, granulated honey product made from pure natural honey, blended with cane sugar, for use in baking, beverages, and cooking. They are not a honey farm or dedicated honey brand.
The Beekeeper's Story
Established in 1967 by José Badía, a Cuban exile who started his business in a small shop in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood, Badia Spices has grown into one of today's leading family-owned Hispanic food companies. The company manufactures, packages, and distributes spices, seasoning blends, marinades, sauces, teas, and health items to more than 70 countries worldwide. In 1970, José hired his son Joseph 'Pepe' Badía to manage daily operations; Pepe is now the majority owner and president. Badia Spices sells over 400 products and is registered with the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) program. Their honey-related product, Honey Granules, is a minor part of a vast product portfolio.
