Aunt Sue's® is a national honey brand and sub-brand of the Sioux Honey Association Co-op, offering raw and unfiltered honey that is strained rather than filtered to preserve natural pollen and bold flavor. Sourced from 200+ independent family beekeepers across the USA, all honey is sampled, tested, and graded for clarity, floral type, flavor, moisture, and color. The brand is available nationwide at major retailers and online.
The Beekeeper's Story
Aunt Sue's® is produced by the Sioux Honey Association Co-op, a cooperative of 200+ independent family beekeepers headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa, with roots going back to 1921 when five local beekeepers pooled $200 each to form the association. The co-op has grown to become the largest honey marketing cooperative in the US, with beekeepers spanning from California to the Midwest and beyond, including third and fourth-generation members. Unlike the co-op's classic Sue Bee® filtered honey, Aunt Sue's® is strained rather than filtered, allowing more natural pollen to remain in the honey for a bold, complex flavor profile. The brand is U.S. Farmed Certified — the first honey brand to earn this designation — and Kosher certified by the Orthodox Union, reflecting its commitment to transparency, domestic sourcing, and quality.
