American Raw Honey is a family-run apiary based in Utah, harvesting raw, unfiltered honey from 850+ beehives across the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, Nevada, and Oregon. The brand was founded by a Russian-immigrant family that moved to Utah in 2012 and started keeping bees in 2015 after struggling to find honey that reminded them of home. They produce nearly 4,500 gallons of honey annually with no artificial additives, heating, or filtration.

The Beekeeper's Story

When the founders moved to Utah from Russia in 2012, they found it difficult to find quality honey reminiscent of what they grew up with — honey that is a staple of Russian culture and family life. In 2015, they started with just a couple of hives in their backyard, producing enough honey for their own family. They soon connected with the local Russian community in Utah, who shared the same longing for familiar honey, and began selling their product. The company has since grown substantially, expanding operations across Utah and into neighboring Nevada and Oregon. Today, 850+ beehives work seasonally in remote locations including the Wasatch Mountains to supply their family-run apiaries. They deliver close to 4,500 gallons of raw organic honey per year, offering a wide variety of monofloral and wildflower varieties, all sustainably and organically produced in the United States.
